Benadryl Directions For Use:
Adult and children over 12 years: 2-4 tsp. (10-20 mL) every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 16 tsp. (80 mL) per day.
Children Dosage: 6-12 years: 1-2 tsp. (5-10 mL) every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 8 tsp. (40 mL) per day.
Children under 6 years: Use Benadryl Children's liquid.

Medicinal Ingredient: Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 12.5 mg (Antihistamine)

Adult Dosage: 1 caplet at bedtime. Do not take more than the recommended dosage.
Children Dosage: Not recommended for children under 12.
Children 6-12: use Junior Strength Benadryl Allergy Chewables.
Children under 6: use Benadryl Children's Liquid.

Benadryl Caution
May cause drowsiness. Do not drive or engage in activities requiring alertness. May cause excitability especially in children or the elderly. Avoid alcohol. Talk to a doctor before using this product if you have chronic lung disease, glaucoma or difficulty urinating due to enlargement of the prostate gland or are pregnant, nursing, elderly, or taking other antihistamines or sedating drugs at night. Avoid prolonged use unless advised by a doctor. Keep out of children's reach.
