Kaopectate Directions:
For best results, take full recommended dose at first sign of diarrhea and after each subsequent bowel movement (maximum 7 times in 24 hours)
Children 3 to under 6 years of age: take 1/2 tablespoon.
Children 6 to under 12 years of age: take 1 tablespoon.
Children 12 years of age and over (and adults): take 2 tablespoons.
Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration which may accompany diarrhea.
Shake well before each use. Do not refrigerate.

Active Ingredients: Each 1/2 tablespoonful contains: Attapulgite (300 mg)
Inactive Ingredients: FD&C Red #40, Flavors, Glucono Delta Lactone, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Methylparaben, Sorbic Acid, Sucrose, Titanium Dioxide, Xanthan Gum, Purified Water
Kaopectate Caution
Do not use for more than two days unless directed by a doctor. Do not use if diarrhea is accompanied by fever or if blood or mucus is present in stool. Do not use in infants or children under 3 years of age unless directed by a doctor. If you are taking a prescription medicine, consult your doctor before taking this product. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. Do not use if printed plastic wrap around package is broken or missing.
