ONETOUCH Ultra Control Solution is used with both the ONETOUCH Ultra Blood Glucose Monitoring System and the ONETOUCH FastTake Blood Glucose Monitoring System to check that the meter and test strips are working together as a system and that you are performing the test correctly. It is very important that you do control solution tests routinely to make sure you are getting accurate results.
ONETOUCH Ultra Control Solution contains a known amount of glucose that reacts with both ONETOUCH Ultra Test Strips and ONETOUCH FastTake Test Strips (hereafter referred to as the “test strips”). A test with control solution is similar to a blood test except that you use.ONETOUCH Ultra Control Solution instead of a drop of blood. The test result using control solution should fall within an expected range of results that you will find printed on the vial of test strips that you are using.

One Touch Caution
ONETOUCH Ultra Control Solution is for in vitro diagnostic use only. This
means that it is only used for testing and only outside of the body.
• ONETOUCH Ultra Control Solution is made for both the ONETOUCH
Ultra and ONETOUCH FastTake Systems. Do not use any other brand
of control solution.
• Check the expiration date on the vial. Do not use if expired.
• Shake the vial, discard the first drop of ONETOUCH Ultra Control
Solution, and wipe off the dispenser tip to ensure a good sample and
an accurate result.
• Use only for three months after first opening. Record the discard date
(date opened plus three months) on the control solution vial. Discard
after three months.

OneTouch UltraSoft Lancets have an ultra thin design for less painful blood sampling. They are for use with all OneTouch Penlet Plus and OneTouch UltraSoft Brand Automatic Blood Samplers from LifeScan, and most other brand sampling devices.

One Touch Instructions for use:
- Wash hands with soap and warm water. Dry well.
- Load lancet into lancing device and twist off protective cap.
- Choose a spot on the side of a different finger each time you take a blood sample
- Follow lancing device instructions for obtaining a blood sample
