Pepcid AC is manufactured by Merck Frosst Ltd. Relieves & prevents heartburn and acid indigestion. Just one per dose. 1 tablet relieves heartburn and acid indigestion (Read package insert before use). Pepcid AC Acid Controller prevents heartburn and acid indigestion brought on by eating and drinking certain food and beverages.
Pepcid AC Directions:
To relieve symptoms, swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water. To prevent symptoms, swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water at any time from 15 to 60 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages that cause heartburn. Can be used up to twice daily (up to 2 tablets) in 24 hours). This product should not be given to children under 12 years old unless directed by a doctor.

Allergy warning: Do not use if you are allergic to Pepcid AC (famotidine) or other acid reducers. Do not take the maximum daily dosage (2 tablets) for more than 2 weeks continuously except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Do not use with other acid reducers. If you have trouble swallowing, or persistent abdominal pain, see your doctor promptly. You may have a serious condition that may need different treatment.
