How should I use Repronex?
Repronex will be given under the supervision of your doctor. The dose of Repronex will depend on your circumstances and will be decided by the doctor.
The average dose for causing ovulation in the hopes of becoming pregnant is 150 IU FSH and LH injected into a muscle once a day for seven or more days. Usually hCG will be used the day after the last dose of Repronex.
The usual dose for producing sperm in males is 75 IU FSH and 75 IU LH injected into a muscle three times a week for four or more months. Usually hCG will be given before and during treatment with Repronex.
It is very important that the dosing schedule be followed closely and that all doctor's appointments be kept so that progress can be monitored. If you miss a dose, your doctor will help to establish a new dosing schedule.
It is very important to understand how this treatment works. For treatment
of infertility in women, it is recommended to have intercourse
daily beginning on the last day of therapy until ovulation occurs.
