Aromasin (Exemestane) - Tablet
Aromasin is manufactured by Pfizer Canada Inc. This medicine is an aromatase inhibitor used to treat some types of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What is Aromasin used for?
Aromasin is used to treat advanced breast cancer in women who can no longer have children (postmenopausal) whose disease has gotten worse after treatment with tamoxifen.
The safety and effectiveness of Aromasin in women who can still have children (premenopausal) has not been determined.
