Diprolene-AF-Cream drug description and what Diprolene-AF-Cream is used to treat

Diprolene AF cream is a kind of synthetic corticosteroid that is usually used as treatment for dermatologic cases. It is in a form of a cream that is being applied topically. Bethametasone’s main function is that it mimics hydrocortisone or cortisol, which is the natural steroid that is being produced by the body. It is also known in its generic name Betamethasone or Betamethasone Dipropionate.
Diprolene AF cream is indicated for patient with allergic and inflammatory disorders, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, intramuscular allergic and inflammatory disorders, allergic and inflammatory conditions of the eye, and other skin disorders. It can also be use to patients with 1st to 2nd degree burn, alopecia areata and chronic discoid lupus erythematosus. Always keep in mind that the treatment of Diprolene AF beyond two weeks is not recommended.

Diprolene AF is contraindicated to patient who is hypersensitive to the betamethasone dipropionate, corticosteroid and any other ingredients that has been incorporated in the drug. It is also contraindicated to patient with known or suspected calcium metabolism disorders, erythrodermic exfoliative, pustular psoriasis, acne vulgaris, primary cutaneous viral infection, skin lesions caused by infection with fungi, and it is not allowed for children below 1 year of age with dermatoses.
