Manerix (generic name: Moclobemide) is classified as an antidepressant drug. It is known as a reversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase inhibitor type A (RIMA). This medication is primarily used to treat the signs and symptoms of depression. This is contraindicated in patients who have schizophrenia and schizo-affective disorders, acute states of confusion, and pheochromocytoma.
