Perphenazine is a typical antipsychotic drug. It is a piperazinyl phenothiazine derivative. It is 10 to 15 times as potent as chlorpromazine making it a highly potent antipsychotic drug. It is also used as an antiemetic drug for adults without psychotic disorders.
